get to know your camera well. And also, learn what iso is, macro, and all the other terms. They will be useful to capture exactly what you want.
Take pictures that others don’t see in a normal life, go far by not just taking pictures of posed people or something that everyone else does, but by photo”ing” the unseen[:

Ha, this sounds rather confusing[:
get to know ur lightings. And shadows. itll work out well.Hope you do well with ur pictures
I think the best thing anyone ever taught me was LIGHT! Use as much natural light as you can.
Second, don’t try to make things so symmetrical – don’t make the focus of your picture right square in the middle.
My opinion – if you’re photographing people, let the photos be candid. They always look so much better than posed shots. People don’t always have to be looking at the camera to get an awesome shot.
You should take a class. You can check out a local art museum or community college that might offer some weekend or evening classes – or maybe even local photographers might offer some seminars.
Check at your local Community Education Center or Vocational School. Some classes are as cheap as $25-50. A vocational class might cost several hundred dollars….but well worth it because you will be getting good lectures, textbooks and the chance to network with other photographers in your experience level. Canon also has a FREE website for anyone to attend which teaches some of the basics.

What you may think is a great photot, others might not think so, try taking pictures of things you might not necessarily like as much, but others may find eye catching. Don’t rely all on digital cameras, try 35mm. Take pics of things in a way that you may find out of the ordinary to normal.
